DETONA secured the OMEN Atlantic Challenge title after defeating Heretics 3-2 in the best-of-five grand final.

The two-day event in Lisbon saw four teams battle it out over the $16,500 prize pool in a double-elimination bracket with a team list consisting of DETONA, Movistar Riders, Heretics and eXploit.

DETONA stormed through the upper bracket by taking down eXploit and Movistar Riders, locking down their spot in the grand final, while Heretics would make their way to the Brazilians after besting Movistar Riders—whom they previously lost to—in the consolidation final.

Coming from the upper bracket, DETONA held a map advantage in the best-of-five grand final against Heretics, with the Brazilians doubling their map score swiftly following a dominant performance from Vinicius "⁠vsm⁠" Moreira on Inferno.

Heretics battled back on Dust2 to secure a hard-earned 16-13 victory and followed it up with a commanding 16-3 win on Overpass to tie the series. With all to play for, the two teams headed into the decider, Mirage, where it came down to the wire. After a constant back-and-forth it was finally DETONA who were able to scrape together the final couple of rounds to take the map, 16-14, and the series, 3-2, to be crowned OMEN Atlantic Challenge champions.
